Introduction

Samsung Galaxy A05s is the latest of samsung’s entry level A series smartphone. Released on September 25,2023, Samsung made this phone for it’s fans that have a tight budget when searching for the latest device to buy. They went as far as releasing a 4GB ram version alongside the 6GB ram version. Samsung never fails to deliver in quality and with 2023’s A05s one can see quite a few upgrades over the previous 04 smartphone such as in the camera and display though 5G connectivity still remains unsupported in this phone.

Samsung Galaxy A05s: Design

The design is very Samsung like. A completely flat back without a camera island hosting 3 cameras stacked on top of each other but separated too reminds you that you are holding something from Samsung. The frame is made entirely from plastic, front and back both, although the front is covered by a glass sheet but Samsung doesn’t really tell us the details about it. It is available in the colors  basic Black and Silver, the more youthful and playful Violet, and the Light Green.

There isn’t much to talk about when it comes to the front. We covered earlier that it is covered by a glass sheet. Other than that, It also has thick bezels which is expected of Samsung in the price range that this phone comes in but bezels are not so thick that they make the device ugly to look at. The plastic frame may not be premium but it has superiority over glass and metal in some areas. It isn’t as quick to be dented nor does it break as easily. It is also not too bad when it comes to retaining fingerprints.

Samsung Galaxy A05s: Camera

The rear camera isn’t much of an upgrade over the previous version, We have a basic primary 50 MP camera combined with two 2MP shooters for macro and depth. Unfortunately, there is no ultrawide on this phone. The main camera uses a Hynix hi5022 sensor which is non Samsung and relatively new, released in 2023. Other than this, The other 2 cameras use the following sensors GalaxyCore gc2375h and SuperPix sp2507. The primary camera has an autofocus but the other two cameras lack it.
