Introduction

The Poco X6, released on January 11,2023 is a continuation of Poco’s X series, It is the latest phone following the X5 which was released before it. There have been significant improvements compared to the previous version. Currently, It is the cheapest phone you can find that hosts a Dolby vision display. The latest Poco X6 shows significant and praiseworthy improvements in screen, chipset and camera. It is also IP54 rated for dust and splash resistant.

Poco X6: Design

The Poco X6 has a very familiar design, a design such that you can not mistake it for anything other than a poco especially with the logo on the back. The rear panel on this is symmetrical and flat from all sides. This phone has a plastic frame with a matte finish. It is IP54 rated for splash and dust resistance which basically means that it can endure heavy rains from all sides. At the top of the rear panel, There is a black box which contains the camera and poco’s logo. The Poco x6 is available in the colors black, blue and white

Over on the front, we have a 6 inch display with a hole at the top that is home to the phone’s selfie camera. It has smaller screen bezels than the previous X5.  The back panel also takes note of smudges and fingerprints so users would prefer to have a case on. Overall, even without a protective case, The phone offers a decent grip, feels nice to hold and is friendly to use on a daily basis.

Poco X6: Camera

The latest Poco X6 features a triple camera setup on it’s rear and a tiny single camera for selfies on the front. The rear consists of a primary camera, an ultrawide and a tiny micro shooter. The primary camera hosts a 64MP OmniVision OV64B 1/2″ sensor  which is paired with a 25mm lens. The ultrawide camera uses a 8MP Somy IMX355 sensor with a  16mm f/2.2 lens.The macro camera uses a 2MP OmniVision OV02B1 sensor. To finish off, The front camera utilizes a  16MP OV16A1Q 1/3.06″ sensor and a 24mm f/2.0 lens.
