OnePlus Open, released on October 26,2023 is the company’s first foldable and also rumored to currently be the best foldable you can get for it’s price on the market. It hosts a clean design full of features that make it appealing to the eye. Remindful of old digital cameras. One key feature to note about this smartphone is that it has also been related as IPX4 splash resistant i.e waterproof. Something that makes a phone stand out from the crowd such that it is important to mention to establish market value superiority over those lacking. Something to remember is that it is only IPX4 rated which means that it shouldn’t be fully submerged in water. It can endure sprinkles or even showers which is enough for most users.

OnePlus Open: Design

The OnePlus Open hosts a superior design, a beautiful smartphone. You can tell that OnePlus went ahead of themselves when designing this smartphone. It is friendly to use, feels nice to hold and a joy to look at. It hosts a huge screen, more than 7 inches! which is a joy to use for people who like to multitask and use more than one app at once. When closed, you are greeted with a 6 inch display that has a small camera at it’s top. One glance at the back panel and you will feel the fingerprint resistant vegan leather and how nice it feels on your fingers. It’s camera reminds one of old digital Cameras. The Voyager black model seems to have a plastic layer in it’s rear panel but the Emerald Dusk version seems to have matte glass instead which is comparatively thicker.
