Introduction

Apple seems to be integrating AI features into the all new iPhone. Atleast, this is what analysts believe right now. It’s 2024 and nearly every company in the tech world is exploring AI and apple, being one of the leading companies in tech, is not going to pretend to be an outside observer to all this and will definitely attempt to lead the rat race.

AI in iPhones

As is the case with apple usually, there are no definite reports on the matter and apple refused to comment on the issue when requested but insiders and speculators believe that the iPhone will be receiving great new AI features and especially Siri, voice assistant already present in iPhone will be getting an AI upgrade.

Evidences

There are many facts to support this line of thought. Some of them are:-

  1. All of apple’s recent job posts include the words ” deep learning” as a requirement. This is a skill used to power advanced AI systems.
  2. The company has developed 21 new startups in AI since 2024.
  3. All of it’s rivals like google etc have recently been investing in making their own AI models.
  4. Recent iPhones have big hardware upgrades which could be to support future AI systems.
  5. Last November, Cook said,”In terms of generative AI, obviously, we have work going on I’m not going to get into details about what it is, because as you know, we really don’t do that. But you can bet we’re investing.”
  6. Bloomberg reported that apple is investing in “Apple GPT.”

Conclusion

If apple wants to keep up with the tech world as it is now then it is imperative for them to invest in AI and they are more well aware of this than anybody else and hence why it seems by the facts stated above that they’re taking matters seriously and putting effort to maintain their position in the world of tech. Other competitors have since long been investing in this industry such as Google. Google’s recent phones like the pixel 8 and pixel 8 pro consist of many AI features so it’s time apple picks up the pace as well.
