Introduction

The iPhone 15 Plus, released on 22 september,2023.Released alongside the 15 pro max and 15 pro . I like to call it the budget friendly iPhone. If you’re someone that likes to keep up with the latest iPhone but can’t afford the pro or pro max due to their price then apple’s non pro variants suit you the best. As is the case with other phones of the 15 series, The key feature that makes it separate from it’s predecessors is USB-C support. The convenience now offered by apple to it’s users by making their ports the same as those of other phones in this era of smartphones is praiseworthy.

iPhone 15 Plus: Design

When discussing the design of the new iPhone 15 plus, It wouldn’t be far from the truth to say that it is quite similar to it’s predecessor “The iPhone 14” but this is not to say that there are no differences between the two. There are very obvious differences between them that make both distinct and separate in their own respect. One of them is the rounded edges that were introduced in the new design. The iPhone 15 plus hosts an aluminum frame and quite a large screen, a display of more than 6 inches.

The rear panel is made of glass, Apple’s best glass The “Ceramic Shield” to be exact. Though it is made of glass, it has a rather plastic type feel to it. Some colors like the blue one are reported to be fingerprint resistant but this can’t be said about all colors. The rear isn’t exactly grippy and feels smooth in your hand but overall, the design feels very nice to look at and even more nice to hold in one’s hand. All said and done, The iPhone 15 plus has a really great design to it. The device is easy to handle and apple did a great job in manufacturing it.

Apple’s non pro variants are usually cheaper than the pro ones hence why in the starting of this article, I mentioned that the iPhone 15 Plus is for those people who like to have the latest iPhone but can’t afford the pro or pro max. Some of the best deals that I could find are given below

iPhone 15 Plus: Camera and Sample Images

The iPhone 15 Plus uses the same camera layout as existed before it, 2 shooters on the rear panel and one on the front. This is different than the layout found in the 15 pro and pro max. Additionally, It doesn’t use the same sensor as the ones in the 14 pro and 15 pro which is the Sony IMX803. It isn’t known what sensor it uses in specific. What is new about the camera is that the main camera has a full 48 MP. The ultra wide uses 12 MP and the selfie camera also utilizes 12 MP.
